This view of the great breakwater was just one of a number examined during the preparation of an ‘historic environment chapter’ designed to inform proposals to redevelop parts of the harbour and waterfront. Heritage consultancy staff from AW worked with other professionals to produce a detailed early-stage assessment of the development area.
