Imble Lane, Pembroke Dock

Bases for dismantled wireless masts used by a nearby RAF Radio Station during World War ll were investigated during evaluation trenching at Imble Lane, Pembroke Dock, prior to the development of the area for housing. Previous work at the site included a Desk-based Assessment and a Geophysical Survey.

Swansea Castle, Swansea (open day)

An ‘open weekend’ was arranged in conjunction with excavations carried out on behalf of Swansea Council within the castle compound. Archaeology Wales staff gave organised tours of the site, giving members of the public a chance to see the excavation and examine some of the artefacts recovered.

Llanelly House, Llanelli

Detailed pre-commencement building recording was carried out as part of a grant aided scheme managed by the Carmarthenshire Heritage Regeneration Trust to restore this magnificent Georgian town house. Further records were made during the subsequent building programme, when floors were lowered and elements of the historic fabric were refurbished.
