Shoals Hook Farm, Haverfordwest

A ‘strip, map and sample’ archaeological excavation at Shoals Hook Farm, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, undertaken in advance of the construction of a solar farm, revealed the remains of an early Romano-British settlement, comprising at least three round houses, a granary, and numerous field enclosure ditches. The work was informed by the results of a previous Geophysical survey.
