A topographical survey was carried out on the route of a proposed hydro-scheme along the Glasffrwd Brook near Strata Florida Abbey. The survey, which also included examination of Lidar data and historic mapping, recorded numerous archaeological features, including medieval trackways, walls, leats, banks and ditches.
